The Trust: 2018 Christmas Toy & Food Appeal

The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have confirmed the details of this season's Christmas Toy & Food Appeal, with collections set to take place at Banks's Stadium on Saturday, 8th December.
The appeal, which will be in aid of Walsall Manor Hospitals Children's Ward and The Black Country Food Bank via The Thomas Project, will be held ahead of the Saddlers' League One clash with Coventry City and see Trust Secretary Margaret Vardy and Board Trustee Mikee Evans on hand to take collection of your donations.

News, released via the Trust's official website - WalsallFCTrust.org.uk - confirms that some of the toys will be given to the Walsall FC squad when they pay their annual visit to the Walsall Manor Hospital Children's Ward, with some being held back for those children in hospital on Christmas day, and others will being distributed by the Trust to other local deserving causes.

The Trust appreciate that people lead busy lives, and that not everyone can get out to buy a toy or food, so we also have a bucket collection on the day, with any money collected, spent on basic food items (and if necessary additional toys) on your behalf.
