Young Walsall midfielder Maziar Kouhyar, who picked up a serious knee injury whilst on international duty with Afghanistan, has successfully undergone surgery to repair the issue and now begins on the road recovery.
Kouhyar, who penned pro-terms with the club back in February, has made six appearances in the first-team so far this season and is likely to miss much of the remainder of the campaign as he works with club Physio Marc Czuczman and his team.
