Liam Roberts Signs New One-Year Contract

Walsall goalkeeper Liam Roberts has put pen-to-paper on a new contract which will see him remain at the club for at least another season.

Walsall Football Club have confirmed that goalkeeper Liam Roberts has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year contract, which also includes an extra year in the club's favour.

News, released via Saddlers.co.uk, confirms; Liam Roberts has signed a year-long contract at Walsall Football Club, with the option of an extra year in the clubs favour.

It keeps the promising young goalkeeper with The Saddlers, for whom he made his senior debut in February 2016 against Millwall, under the tutelage of goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler.

Following successful loan spells with Gresley, Rainworth, Rushall Olympic and Southport, Roberts established himself in the first-team at National League side Chester at the start of his season-long loan last season, before suffering a groin injury in November.
