Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to the local press and revealed that he is still in contact with Slaven Bilić's West Ham United over a possible loan return for midfielder George Dobson, who made twenty-six appearances during a season-long spell at Banks's Stadium.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon confirmed that he is very keen for the former Arsenal Academy product to return to the club, he said; "I am still speaking to West Ham about George. I am still negotiating on that. But George is a player I like and I’m keen for him to come back.
"At this precise moment I’m really prioritising a couple of other positions. But George is still in the mix and I am still in contact with him."
