Walsall and HomeServe Agree New Five-Year Deal

HomeServe Membership will remain the club's principal partner for at least the next five years.
Walsall Football Club have announced that they and Walsall-based home assistance provider HomeServe Membership has put pen to paper on a new deal which will see the company continue as the principal partner of the club for the next five years.

The deal will see the club’s new 2017/18 shirt, which will be unveiled in June, adorned with HomeServe branding on the front and back as well as other itinerary.

HomeServe Membership, which employs 1,700 people at its headquarters in Cable Drive, Walsall, and a further 1,500 around the UK, has been a proud supporter of The Saddlers since signing its first sponsorship deal with the Sky Bet League One side in 2014.

The new deal will run until the end of the 2021/22 season, taking HomeServe’s support to eight years and making it the firm’s longest ever community sponsorship commitment.

HomeServe Membership Chief Marketing Officer Greg Reed spoke to Saddlers.co.uk and welcomed the new deal, he said; "This deal cements our dedication to supporting a football club that is woven into the fabric of our home town.

"We’ve been based in Walsall for over 20 years and we’re passionate about investing in local business and giving something back to our community. It’s important to us and it’s a huge part of who we are.

"This club is the heartbeat of our community and its family-focused ethos makes it a perfect partner for HomeServe.

"On top of that, many of our people are big Saddlers supporters and we can’t wait to see our new logo on the club’s new shirt when it’s revealed next month – and on the club’s kits for the next five years."
