Walsall captain Adam Chambers has spoken to the local press ahead of this evening's League One clash with Scunthorpe United, and has looked back to last weekend's defeat to Bolton Wanderers and called upon his teammates to replicate the form they displayed before the defeat to the Trotters as he looks to get back to winning ways.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Adam said; "We didn’t get the result we wanted at Bolton but now we need to dust ourselves down and take the positives into Scunthorpe. Bolton was a weird game. We started really well. We let them back in with a set-piece which was really disappointing as we knew that was where they were strong.

"We dominated for long spells. I think we can take a lot from that second half and how we dominated the ball against a very good side. Not many teams will dominate Bolton like we did.

"We’ve been on a good run – our performances over the past six games have have been good. We’ve got to keep that going. If we keep doing what we have done over the past six games we will pick up results and move up the league. We have to take confidence from past performances and replicate them at Scunthorpe. If we do that we will get a result.”
