Walsall Football Club's 'Transfer Deadline Day' loan signing Jordy Hiwula has today spoken of his delight at seeing his Saddlers' loan spell extended for a further month, subject to international clearance.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, the Manchester City front man said; "I'm happy to extend the loan. I feel like I am progressing here and the style of football that we play really suits my game.
"I'm just enjoying every minute of it, even though Saturday's game was a frustrating one for me and the team.
"There's a great bunch of lads here who helped me settle in straight away and I am delighted that I will remain part of that for the next month.
"I want to continue playing my part and hopefully we can bounce back from Saturday's defeat and get back into winning ways at Yeovil on Tuesday evening."
