Earlier this evening Notts County played host to Preston North End in the one remaining Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Semi-Final, with the winner set to play host to Walsall in the Northern Area Final.

Meanwhile Gillingham will play host to Bristol City in the first-leg of the Southern Area Final, with the Robins hosting the Gills at Ashton Gate a few weeks later.
The Area Finals will be played during the weeks commencing 12th January 2015, and 2nd February 2015, with the Final of the competition taking place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 22nd March 2015.
