ANDY TAYLOR PENS NEW SADDLERS DEAL

Walsall Football Club left-back Andy Taylor has penned a new 18-month contract at the Banks's Stadium.

The 26 year-old began his career with Blackburn Rovers, coming through the ranks of his hometown club.

During his time at Ewood Park he had loan spells at Queens Park Rangers, Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield Town and Tranmere Rovers.

Taylor joined Sheffield United at the beginning of the 2009-2010 season for an undisclosed fee, after three injury hit seasons and almost 40 appearances Andy was released by The Blades at the end of last season.

Following a brief trial Andy penned a one-year deal at the Banks's Stadium at the beginning of this season.
